I'm not sure about your Smith's but mine had display boxes right in front of every cash register of butterfingers saying 2 for $1....and then on top of the display box there was a stack of coupons for $1 off any 2 butterfingers. Then you could see that Smiths posted a sign saying "FREE with coupon!". So I got 2 of them and went to check out and the cashier I went to was "buying" like 15 of them right then with coupons through the other cashier....so I asker her how many I could get and she said "however many you want"....I went back and grabbed 20 more!! (I didn't want to take all the coupons so I "only" grabbed 20...and there were still a TON left for others).
I noticed on the coupon it doesn't say anything like "one per customer" so then you CAN get however many you want.
I'm going to make some Butterfinger cookies!! YUMM!!!
